As a young choir member, Lindile sat in the audience of an opera festival and heard the voices of Xolela Sixaba and Simphiwe Qavane and was inspired by hearing their voices, baritones like his own would become, from the stage. An avid sports fan and former soccer player, he’s also relished the opportunity to explore his love for travel with the CTO, and a tour to Paris is a particularly happy memory. Lindile is fascinated by props, and the way in which their positions need to be as carefully choreographed as that of the performers – so this is a department whose work he respects greatly and would like to learn more about in future.
