CHRISTINE BAM – MEZZO

Although she enjoyed music as a school subject, it wasn’t until Christine was in university and attended a performance of La bohème that she gave the world of opera much thought. Sitting in the audience and feeling a little out of her depth – unsure when to applaud – she knew that she felt an affinity for what she heard, but it took a friend’s encouragement and a little more time before she requested an audition. Christine relishes hard work and thrives on a demanding schedule, so the life of rehearsals suits her well. In addition to cultivating her singing career, she’s a qualified teacher who’s established and leads a community choir. Its young members keep her on her toes – and make her proud with their Eisteddfod performances. In addition, she’s a qualified teacher who’s established and leads a community choir.
