ANÉ PRETORIUS

Aware that it may still be some years before her voice reaches its prime, this young singer is quietly confident about her career plans for the future, hoping that her talents will take her to some of the world’s foremost locations for opera. When she casts her mind back, her most memorable moment with the opera remains the opening night of performing her first prominent role – that of Flora in La traviata. Ane holds a BMus and Master’s degree, and is currently completing the second year of her postgraduate diploma. Last year, she was selected to take part in the prestigious Joyce DiDonato Master Class at Carnegie Hall.
